Interested in Volunteering?
Fun and energetic volunteers are needed for the 2012 Open Minds Walk & Run! This event is the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta’s annual fundraiser and volunteers are needed Friday, September 21st and Saturday, September 22nd. Flexible shifts and a variety of jobs are available.
The available volunteer positions are:
- Set Up Crew (Friday, 5pm - 9pm)
- Race Registration Clerks (Saturday, 8am - 10am)
- Race Marshall/Cheer Team (Saturday, 9:30am - 11:30am)
- Water Station Attendants (Saturday, 9:30am - 11:30am)
- Breakfast Servers (no cooking) (Saturday, 8am - 10am)
- Silent Auction Attendant (Saturday, 9am - 1pm)
- 50/50 Ticket Sellers (Saturday, 9am - 1pm)
- Draw Prizes (Saturday, 10am - 1pm)
- Kids Zone Monitors (Saturday, 9am - 1pm)
- Lunch Servers (no cooking) (Saturday, 11am - 1pm)
- Clean Up Crew (Saturday, 1pm - 2pm)
- Cyclists (in front and behind runners) (Saturday, 9:30am - 11:30am)
This is a great opportunity to get your family and friends involved in a good cause, as well as to enjoy what is left of summer weather.
